Fahad AlKassim has established numerous companies throughout his career such as Amwal Financial Consulting Company, Century 21 Saudi Arabia and Fincorp Investment Holding Company Egypt. He also established KPMG’s office in Riyadh and the Eastern Region and was the managing partner of KPMG for several years. He was previously the Executive Director of Dallah Hospital.

Fahad serves as a member of the board of directors of five listed Saudi companies, operating in various sectors: Savola, Jarir, Dur Hospitality, Dallah Health and Bank Albilad. Previously as part of his voluntary roles, Fahad was the Chairman of the Saudi Center for Commercial Arbitration, and a board member of the Saudi Post.

Fahad holds a Bachelor’s degree in accounting from King Saud University in 1986, he also holds a degree in advanced management and leadership from Oxford University in 2009.

Saad is the CEO of AlRajhi Partners. With over 15 years of investment experience, Saad was leading AlRajhi Alpha investments. He started his career at Saudi Aramco, eventually heading the Direct Investments, and currently sits on the board Badwa Capital, Value Capital Partners and Armah Sports Company.

Rayan has a diverse background in the investment industry. Prior to joining Artal Capital, he was the CIO of Awqaf Investment Company where he managed a global multi-asset portfolio. Rayan has held several other positions within the industry, serving as a Director of Private Equity & Investment Banking at Jadwa Investment, as well as Head of the Financial Sector Unit in the Corporate Finance Division of the Capital Market Authority. Rayan serves on a number of Boards & Committees including the Board of Raz Amwal and the Investment Committee of Tadawul Holding Group.
Rayan holds an MBA degree from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a BA in Finance from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals.

Osama has a long experience and track-record in the asset management industry. Prior to joining Artal Capital, Osama was the Head of Asset Management at Al-Rajhi Capital where he was responsible for the management of the discretionary portfolio management and mutual funds across various strategies. He was also responsible for the buy-side equity research and wealth management. He joined Al-Rajhi Capital from HSBC Saudi Arabia, where he held different positions including Head of Equities, Chief Investment Officer, and was later assigned the responsibilities to Head the Asset Management. Osama started his career in Samba Financial Group at their Treasury Department.

Daizy Joined Artal Capital in 2020 as a Director in the MENA equities team. Daizy has spent more than 11 years working in the banking and investment management industry. She started her career in 2009 and worked at prominent asset management firms and financial institutions in both Lebanon and the UAE. Prior to joining Artal Capital, Daizy served as a Director in the Asset Management team at Arqaam Capital.

Daizy is a CFA Charter-holder. She also holds a Bachelor Degree in Mathematics from the American University of Beirut and a Masters Degree in Financial Engineering from the University of Manchester.

Mahmood has over 11 years’ experience in equities research and portfolio management. Prior to joining Artal Capital in 2021, he was the Director of Local Equities and Fixed Income at Raidah Investment Company (“RIC”), the asset management arm of Saudi Arabia’s Public Pension Agency (“PPA”). He joined RIC at its inception, contributed to the establishment of the firm and led the set-up of the Local Equities and Fixed Income Department. During his time at RIC, he was involved in the advisory of board members representing the PPA in listed companies, particularly banks. He was also a contributing member to the management investment allocation. Prior to joining RIC, Mahmood held the position of Vice President at AlRajhi Alpha where he focused on equity research. Prior to that he was a member of SNB Capital’s Asset Management department.

Mahmood holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University College London.

Prior to joining Artal Capital in 2019 Mohammad worked AlRajhi Alpha, where he served as Vice President of the MENA capital markets investment team for 6 years. Before that he served as a financial analyst and corporate banking relationship manager for 9 years at Alrajhi Bank.

Mohammad holds MSc. in Business Economics, Finance, and Banking from the University of Portsmouth and holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from King Saudi University.

Prior to joining Artal Capital, Tariq worked for several financial institutions such as HSBC and GIB Capital, during which he looked after and analyzed investment opportunities in various sectors in the Saudi and other MENA stock markets.

Tariq is a CFA Charter-holder and holds a bachelor degree in finance from King Saud University.

Abdulmalik is a founding member of the Artal Capital team. Since the establishment of Artal Capital, he looked at investment opportunities in KSA, Other GCC countries, and Egypt and in sectors such as Real Estate, Hospitality, and Construction.

Abdulmalik is a CFA Charter-holder and holds a bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering from Al Faisal University.

Abdulaziz joined Artal Capital in March 2020 as an analyst in the public equities team. Abdulaziz holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals University.

Abdulaziz is also a candidate for the CFA level 3 exam.

Ebrahim Alshamasi joined Artal Capital in October 2022. Prior to joining, Artal Capital Ebrahim worked at GIB Capital as part of the investment management team. At GIB Capital, Ebrahim covered multiple sectors such as Cement manufacturing, Building and construction materials, and Banking.

Ebrahim holds a bachelor in Business Administration degree from King Saud University and is CFA charter holder.
